Jamil Alkilani’s research interests include computer vision and deep learning for video understanding. His published work explores transformer- and graph-based methods for violence detection. His current research focuses on 3D reconstruction, including 3D Gaussian Splatting and simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM).
