Isaias Ghebrehiwet worked on artificial intelligence and computer vision applications in medical and dental imaging. He contributed to the development of a deep learning pipeline for automated tooth detection, identification, and rotation estimation using 2D occlusal images and 3D dental scans. His work explored vision foundation models to support more efficient and objective orthodontic assessment.
